Why we started Fitted Works

For years, custom software was something only big companies could afford. Small businesses got by with spreadsheets, workarounds and whatever off-the-shelf software came closest.

AI changed the economics. Tools that once cost six figures can now be built for a fraction of that. But most owners don't have time to figure out what's real, and the market is full of hype.

We started Fitted Works to be the people owners can trust with that change: experienced, plain-spoken and accountable for the result. Fitted Works is the small business technology practice of Generosity Genius, the nonprofit grant and capital advisory firm we co-founded, so you're working with an established firm, not a startup.

The founders

Daniel Wise

Daniel Wise, co-founder

Daniel has spent his career helping organizations make better decisions about money and operations. He started in investment banking at HSBC, moved into strategy consulting with Cognizant and SBI, and worked in supply chain at AT&T. Today he advises on lower middle-market mergers and acquisitions and is a licensed business broker, so he has seen the inside of a lot of small businesses. He holds a BBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He lives in the Atlanta area.

Geoff Horowitz

Geoff Horowitz, co-founder

Geoff is an AI engineer who has been building AI systems for more than a decade, long before AI became a buzzword. Today his work centers on robotics and applied AI solutions. He also holds a CPA license, so he reads a business's numbers as fluently as its code. He's active in both the Metro Detroit and Atlanta communities, and he holds an undergraduate business degree from Emory University and multiple graduate degrees from Georgia Tech.

Our promises

  • A fixed price before we start. You approve the scope and the price in writing.
  • Plain English. No jargon, and no question is too basic.
  • You own it. The tool and your data are yours.
  • It does what we agreed, or we fix it. At no extra cost.
  • We'll tell you when you don't need us. If an off-the-shelf tool will do the job, we'll say so.
